These windows are a tightly sealed window within a casement, hence why they are called casement windows. Because of this seal, they are a great option for moisture-prone areas. Once the casement window is secured and latched, they are a more secure window that is more difficult to break into than a traditional window. Although the price is higher than a standard window, casement windows have many advantages that outweigh the cost.
